My Story
This blog chronicles my journey back into competitive running after a 12-year hiatus. Like many high school track and cross country runners, I went off to college with no further desire to continue running. Having run multiple sub-18 minute 5K’s as an 18-year old, all of a sudden I was closing in on the 30-year mark and couldn’t run a 5K faster than 27 minutes. This is the story of a man in progress who discovered how to draw inspiration from his faith, family, and friends to find a renewed passion for running — and hopefully achieve some lofty goals along the way.
